The Parkway Theater of this city has been purchased from Mr. Porter by Lloyd Kenyon, who will take over the management on Friday, Sept. 29th, 1939.

The transaction was handled through the Palmer Vinger Real Estate Agency in Greenwood.

Lloyd (Bob as he is commonly known) is a local boy that has spent nearly all of his life in Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.), and has had some experience in theater business and had had schooling in electrical engineering, a subject that will be of benefit to him on this work.

Lloyd assures us that he will show all of the latest up-to-date pictures, the pictures we all want to see, and that he will play them as soon as he can after they are released.

He promises everyone good, clean, high class entertainment, and will welcome any comments or suggestions from his patrons. With your valued support we know we will have a theater in Greenwood that will be an asset to a city three times the size of Greenwood.

Among other things that will be inaugurated by the new management will be a column in the paper under the heading, "Theater News." It will pay you to watch and read this weekly column.

Congratulations and best wishes Lloyd on your new undertaking.

The many friends of the Gehrman will be sorry to see them leave, and extend best of luck in their new venture.
