Dr. and Mrs. Ronald Nichols and children, Kim and Matthew, of Wilmette, Il., spent several days recently with his grandmother, Mrs. Olaf Johnson, and other relatives and friends.

Mr. and mrs. Daniel Priewe and family of Green Bay returned home Monday after a weekend visit at the home of her parents, Mr and Mrs. Theodore Abel, and with other relatives.

Mr. and Mrs. James Turnquist and Mr. and Mrs. Earl Caliebe spent the weekend visiting the ‘House on the Rock’ at Spring Green; and in Prairie du Chien and La Crosse.

Robert Stewart, accompanied by his sons, Lloyd and Robert, the latter of Stanley, attended the Stewart family reunion held Sunday at Plainfield.

The 86th birthday of Mrs. Olaf Johnson was celebrated by relatives and friends at her home Sunday afternoon. The afternoon was spent in visiting and in the late afternoon a lunch was served. Out of town guests were Mrs. Johnson’s son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Vern Parrish, of Downers Grove, Il.

Mrs. Eugene Carteron entertained with a pre-school popcorn lawn party Friday afternoon. Guests were children from the neighborhood and their mothers.

Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Johnson of Ashland, George Luedke, and Alvin Luedke and son, David, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Struensee, Mr. and Mrs. Leon Metcalf, and Mrs. John Kaudy of Stetsonville, Mrs. Mildred Warnecke and grandson of Chicago visited last week at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Kaudy.

Mark Abel of Kaukauna and Danny Priewe of Green Bay spent a week at the home of their grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Abel.

Tuesday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Otto Voie were Mr. and Mrs. Jerome Turner and family of Milwaukee, and his mother, Mrs. Leo Turner, of Clintonville.

Judith Brux and Monica Brux left Sunday for the Winnebago State Hospital, where Monica will be in a 10-week training course. Judith spent Monday at the home of her uncle and aunt, Mr. and mrs. Vilas Brockman, in Freedom, enroute to Antigo, where she will resume her teaching duties, and begin in-service training today (Thursday).

Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Jole were guests Wednesday of Mr. and Mrs. Otto Voie.

Mr. and Mrs. Vern Parrish of Downers Grove, Il., spent from Saturday until Tuesday at the home of her mother, Mrs. Olaf Johnson, and with other relatives and friends.

Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Harlan Brux were Mr. and Mrs. Mike Kowieski and granddaughter, Kathy Kowieski.

Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Carteron and sons, Denis and John, spent Sunday in Hayward with Mr. and Mrs. Gene Bachara.

Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Hegenbarth of Rice Lake and Mr. and mrs. John Brown of Fall Creek were guests Thursday of mrs. Edwin Hegenbarth.

Mr. and Mrs. James Ellingson and children, Annette and Todd, visited from Wednesday until Saturday with his mother, Mrs. Louise Ellingson, before returning to Menomonee Falls.

Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Dyrness of Marshfield visited Friday with Mr. and Mrs. Robert Stewart. Monday afternoon guests at the Stewart home were Robert Stewart and daughter, Doris, of Stanley, and Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Stewart and sons, Robbie and Tommie, of Eau Claire.

Mr. and Mrs. Wilbert Swieso and sons, Mike and Craig, of Fresno, Calif., are visiting his mother, Mrs. Effie Swieso. Additional dinner guests Monday were Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Thiede and daughter, Roxanne, of Marshfield.
