Zion Lutheran Church, Granton (90th Anniversary -1973)

Special services Sunday, September 23, will mark the 90th anniversary of the Zion Lutheran Church, Missouri Synod, congregation at Granton. The Rev. Arthur H. Leasch, Pewaukee, will be the guest speaker at the 10:30 a.m. worship service, which will be followed by a potluck congregational dinner. The Rev. Roland Roehrs is the pastor of the congregation.

Rev. Leasch, now retired, is a former pastor of the church. He will also deliver the Sunday morning sermon at Christ Lutheran Church, Chili.

The congregation was organized in 1883 and the present church was built in 1958. The church has recently been carpeted; funds came from memorials and from the Ladies Aid rug fund.
