Johnson, Linda Ann (Marriage - 22 September 1973)

Miss Linda Ann Johnson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Johnson of Rt. 1 Granton, and Kenneth Richard Hughes, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert T. Hughes of Kenosha, were wed during a 2 p.m. ceremony September 22. The Rev. Michael Dulko of St. Anthony’s Church, Kenosha, performed the ceremony.

The bride chose a gown of Chantilly lace and a long veil trimmed n the same lace. Her bouquet was of white daisies and pink roses.

Margaret Ficcker of Kenosha was the honor attendant and Mrs. Marilyn Weiler of Marshfield and Miss Bonnie Faber of Stillwater, Mn, were bridesmaids. Their light blue crepe dresses were complimented by bouquets of white daisies and blue carnations.

Clifford Johnson of Park Falls served as bestman. Steve Kruscher and Jerry Rintamaki, both of Kenosha seated the guests. Patrick Hughes was the ringbearer. Following the ceremony a reception and supper was held at the home of the groom’s parents.

The new Mrs. Hughes graduated from Granton High School and will complete her training at Gateway Technical Institute in Kenosha in December. She has been employed in a Kenosha law firm. Her husband graduated from Bradford High School and is employed with American Motors Corp. The newlyweds are making their home at 4212 Seventh Ave., in Kenosha.
