Scene of the wedding was Nazareth Lutheran Church, Withee, with the Rev. Beryl Knudsen officiating. Bouquets of white gladioli and yellow carnations decorated the church altar.

Miss Bunee Kraut sang "Wedding Prayer" and "The Lord's Prayer," with Miss Louise Hansen presiding at the organ.

When the bride entered the church with her father she was wearing a white taffeta and lace floor length gown featuring a scalloped neckline. Her veil of tulle was attached to a headpiece of pearls and her bouquet consisted of white chrysanthemums, white stephanotis, yellow roses and ivy.

Miss Shirley Jensen, Withee, the maid of honor, and Miss Claudia Tesch, Schofield, the bridesmaid, wore street length full skirted yellow lace and taffeta frocks made with scalloped necklines. They carried bouquets of white pompons and yellow roeses.
