Lebiecki, Linda (14 AUG 1965)

Miss Linda Lebiecki became the bride of Ronald Rosiejka in Lublin at St. Mary’s Assumption Church on Saturday, Aug. 14, 1965 at 2 o’clock in the afternoon. The Rev. Anthony Matla performed the nuptial ceremony before an altar adorned with bouquets of pink and white carnations and white spider chrysanthemums. Mrs. Stanley Hucker played and sang “O Lord Most Holy” and “On This Day, O Beautiful Mother.”

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Lebiecki and the groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Rosiejka, all of Lublin.

The bride wore a silk parchment taffeta bridal gown fashioned with double appliques of small imported Swiss lace leaves embroidered with pearls. A detachable floating Watteau train extended from the shoulder line topped by a self-fabric bow. Her petalled headpiece held her veil and her flowers were glamellias in a long bouquet centered with a white orchid and interspersed with glamellia leaves, ivy and stephanotis.

Miss Helen Ludwig of Bellflower, Calif., sister of the bride, was maid of honor, with bridesmaids, Mrs. Ronald Harrelson of Streamwood, Ill., a sister of the bride, Miss Arlene Dus, a cousin of the bride of Lublin, and Mrs. Margaret Braddock, a sister-in-law of the bride of Streamwood, Ill. The aides were dressed alike in soft pink shantastik floor length gowns with bateau front necklines, empire bodices edged with bands of contrasting samarson rose and pleated panel trains of the samaron rose falling from a squared back neckline. The maid of honor’s gown was in reversed colors. They carried camellia foliage in the same style as the bride’s, with sweetheart roses and sunburst white pompons tipped in pin.

Attending the groom were groomsmen, David Rosiejka, Lublin, brother of the groom, Richard Panczyer, Lublin, bridegroom’s cousin, and Ronald Harrelson, a brother-in-law, from Streamwood, Ill.

The reception was held at St. Hedwig’s Hall in thorp, which included a supper served to 240 guests.

Following the Canadian honeymoon the newlyweds will reside on Lake Kokomang at Ft. Atkinson, where Mr. Rosiejka is a teacher.

The bride is a 1964 graduate of the Owen-Withee High School and attended Elgin Community College. She has been employed as a clerk typist at Flexonics Corp., Bartlett, Ill. The groom, a graduate of the Thorp High School and Medford Teachers College, is a teacher in the Palmyra school district.
