Nandwana, Luanne M. (19 AUG 1942 – 18 AUG 2015)

Luanne M. Nandwana, 72, Castro Valley, Calif., formerly of Greenwood, died at 8:35 a.m., on Tuesday, Aug. 18, 2015, at her home. Funeral services were held at 10 a.m., on Saturday, Aug.22, at the reflection chapel of the Chapel of the Chimes in Hayward, Calif.

Luanne Marie Syth was born on Aug. 19, 1942, in Marshfield, to Reynold and Helen Syth of Greenwood. A graduate of Greenwood High School, Luanne left Wisconsin after finishing nursing school at St. Joseph's School of Nursing in Marshfield. She met her husband, Dilip Nandwana, in Burbank, Calif. He survives. She was a long-time resident of Castro Valley, Calif., where she worked at Eden Medical Center as a case manager. Indeed, she was quite a pillar of the community, having taken part in much community involvement, and many heartfelt friendships. She loved to sing and eat popcorn, but most importantly loved to help people heal from any and every illness that came their way.

Luanne is survived by one sister, Colleen (Dick) Adler, Greenwood; three brothers, Dennis (Joyce) Syth, Greenwood, Kevin (Diane Opelt) Syth, Greenwood, and Kent (Linda) Syth, Oregon, Wis.; her three children, Ravi Nandwana, Raju (Toni) Nandwana, and Deena (Jack) Lin; and three loving grandchildren, Liara (Jemmi) Nandwana, Miles Lin, and Asha Lin.

Luanne was preceded in death by her parents.

Memorial contributions can be made to the Alzheimer's Association and Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation.
