Moldenhauer, Clara (3 June 1884 - 10 April 1974)

A native of the Town of Lynn, Mrs. Clara Moldenhauer of Rt. 1, Granton, died April 10 in Neillsville at the age of 89. Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon from Zion American Lutheran Church in the Town of Grant with the Rev. Richard Eggen officiating. Interment was in the church cemetery. The Gilbertson Funeral Home, Granton, was in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Moldenhauer, the former Clara Wischulke, was born June 3, 1884, in the Town of Lynn. She was married to Walter Moldenhauer on May 14, 1902, at Zion American Lutheran Church. After their marriage, the couple lived in Michigan for two years, then moved to a farm in the Town of Grant for the remainder of their lives. Mr. Moldenhauer preceded his wife in death on June 12, 1965. Mrs. Moldenhauer was a member of Zion American Lutheran Church.

Survivors include a son, Alfred Moldenhauer of rural Granton; a grandchild, Doris Moldenhauer; and two brothers.

Pallbearers were: Martin Hillert, Oscar Krause, Norman Beilke, Herbert Schnabel, Arno Winter and Ray Kurth.
