These are the Greenwood Community High School's representatives to Badger Boys
and Girls State this year. They were selected by the high school faculty, who
based their selections on the following qualities: leadership qualities, honest
and character, cooperativeness, courage, scholarship and patriotism. All are
juniors and all have been leaders in various activities in high school.
The 1961 Bader State representatives are Robert Turnquist, son of Mr. and Mrs.
Art Turnquist, Rt. 3 Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.); Cheryl Behrens, Greenwood,
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Behrens; and Raymond Johnson, son of Mr. and Mrs.
Leonard Johnson, Rt. 3, Greenwood.
The boys are sponsored each year by the Wallis-Hinker American Legion Post N.
238 and the Greenwood Rotary Club. The representative to Badger Girls State is
sponsored every year by the American Legion Auxiliary of the Wallis-Hinker Post,
Greenwood.
