She was born on July 8, 1932, in Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of John and Estelle Goodman of Medford.

On Dec. 21, 1954, she was married to Eugene Stack of Baltimore, Maryland at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Stetsonville. Eugene and Connie met in the state of Maine where both were youth camp counselors while in college.

After graduating from Medford High School in 1950, Connie graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a major in physical education and was later employed as a recreation director. Connie’s faith was most important to her and became stronger as time went on. She was an active member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church and school in Baraboo. She also served on the Baraboo Parks and Recreation Board for a number of years. She loved her family with a fond love for her 9 grandchildren.

Survivors include her four children, Eugene (Susan) Stack Jr., of Delavan, Patrick (Laura) Stack, of Baraboo, Laura (Tim) Stack-Gorman, of Minneapolis, Minnesota and Kevin (Jamie) Stack, of Sun Prairie; sister, Judi (Mark) Seidl, of Wausau; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren, as well as her sister-in-law Donna Goodman, of Medford, and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Eugene Stack; and her brother, Jack Goodman.

Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, May 9, 2016, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Medford. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of service at the church. Burial will follow the service at Holy Rosary Cemetery in Medford.
