Buse, Delores L. (Hendrickson) (2 AUG 1934 - 10 MAY 2016)

Delores L. Buse, Age 81, of Spencer, passed away peacefully while surrounded by her family on Tuesday, May 10, 2016 at Golden Living Center-Continental Manor in Abbotsford.

Her Memorial Service will be held at 1PM on Saturday, May 14, 2016 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Spencer. Rev. David DePaoli will officiate. Committal services will take place in West Spencer Cemetery at a later date.

Family and friends are invited to gather on Friday from 4PM until 7PM at Life Tributes Funeral Home in Spencer and again on Saturday at the church in Spencer from 12noon until time of services.

Delores was born August 2, 1934 in the township of Brighton, the daughter of Alfred and Frieda Hendrickson. She graduated from Spencer High School in 1952.

On June 13, 1953 Delores was married to Wilbur Buse at Trinity Lutheran Church in Spencer.
He survives.

Together they shared 63 years of marriage. She was a devoted wife and mother and loved Wilbur and her children. While raising her own children, she also watched other children in her home until starting her employment at Land O Lakes in 1971. Her career lasted some 27 years until her retirement in 1998.

In her spare time, Delores enjoyed bowling, some square dancing with Wilbur or spending time putting jigsaw puzzles together. Her greatest loves by far were spending time with family whether being up north or camping, spending time with her sisters, being with her grandchildren or spending an afternoon with her special friends Pat and Keith or Bud and Betty.

Delores was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Spencer.

Survivors include her husband Wilbur Buse of Spencer; her children: Gary (Debra) Buse of Orlando, Fl, Nancy (Bill) Althoff of Cannon Falls, MN, David (Dawn) Buse of Spencer, Keith (Shelia) Buse of Fortsmith, AR, Kevin (Jackie) Buse of Rosholt and Joan (Scott) Johnson of Seymour; her grandchildren: Michael Buse, Dustin (fiancé Deanna) Buse, Derek (fiancé Nicki) Buse, Kevin (Jessica) Althoff, Stephanie (TJ) Smotherman, Kyle (fiancé McKenzie) Marquardt, Adam Marquardt, Keith Buse and Carson Johnson; one great granddaughter Brook Smotherman; three sisters: Darlene Dommer of Oshkosh, Ardy Hendrickson of Stevens Point and Karen (Ronald) Seefeldt of Oconto Falls, along with many other relatives and dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her feline companion “Lady.”

If desired, memorials are being accepted in Delores’s name to the Alzheimer’s Association.
Her family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Golden Living Center-Continental Manor in Abbotsford for the compassion and care given to their mother.
