Francis, Charlotte Eve (10 NOV 1896 – 8 JAN 1962)

Funeral services for Mrs. Charlotte Eve Francis, 64, formerly of Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.), who died January 8, 1962, at her home in Medford, Oregon, were held on Saturday, January 13 in Medford.

Mrs. Francis was born November 10, 1897 in Greenwood, the daughter of Daniel and Olive Stoneburg. On October 15, 1913, also in Greenwood, she was wed to Fred Francis, who survives.

They lived in Greenwood for some time, then moved to Thorp, where they resided until July 1956, when they moved to Oak Ridge, Oregon. In October of the same year, they moved to Medford, Oregon, where they have made their home since.

Besides her husband, she is survived by 5 sons, Merrill A., Sharon, N.D.; Daniel J. and Art K., both of Milwaukee, Wis.; Jack M. Medford, Ore.; and Fred D., Cody, Wyo.; 7 daughters, Mrs. Gerald (Marion) Warner, Oak Ridge, Ore.; Mrs. Darrel (Jean) Buettner, Hackensack, Minn.; Mrs. Elton (Lucille) Marvin, Merrillan, Wis.; Mrs. Russell (Olive) Buettner, Clinton, Wis.; Mrs. Albert (Lila) Dancker, East troy, Wis.; Mrs. Duane (Vera) Olby, Mason, Wis.; and Mrs. Edward (Martha) Haryski, Milwaukee, Wis.; a brother, Ed Stoneburg, Rosly, Wash.; a sister, Mrs. Wm. (Helen) Syth, Elmonte, Calif.; a half-brother, Ervin Stoneburg, Spencer, Wis.; 3 half-sisters, Mrs. Herb (Edith) Koepke, Spencer, Wis.; Mrs. Aug. (Edna) Eckes and Mrs. Al (Norma) Breheim, both of Marshfield, Wis.; 36 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
