Danielson, Delores Evonne (Anderson) (7 OCT 1940 - 17 MAY 2016)

Delores Evonne Danielson, 75, Prentice, died on Tuesday, May 17, 2016, at her home.

She was born on October 7, 1940, the daughter of Milton and Marion (Ostling) Anderson on the families homestead in Ogema.

She attended and graduated from Prentice High School, Class of 1959.

She was married to Kenneth Danielson on January 7, 1960, in Phillips. She was a lifelong resident of the Prentice area.

She was employed as a telephone operator, at the Prentice Coop, Omark Industries, L. & A. Grocery and then at Blount Industries prior to the time of her retirement.

In her free time she enjoyed, golfing, bowling, baking, gardening, spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren.

She was a member of First Lutheran Church and the VFW Auxiliary Post, both of Prentice.

She is survived by her husband Ken, Prentice, by 3 children: Carmel Provo, Maple Grove, MN, Rian (Tammy) Danielson, Boulder Junction, WI, and Brenda (Bob Schmitt) Danielson, Rib Lake, WI, by 7 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, by 2 brothers: Harold (Judy) Anderson, Marshfield, WI, and Larry (Jeanne) Anderson, Colfax, WI, and by 6 sisters: Jolene Carpenter, Phillips, Virginia (Jeff) Hebeisen, Hopkins, MN, Carol (Bill) Takala, Crossville, TX, Shirley (Keith) Gustafson, Brantwood, Betty (Bob) Weinzatl, Prentice, and Marion (Bill) Carstens, Fridley, MN.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and by 2 brothers: Robert and Cliff Anderson.

The funeral service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Friday, May 20, 2016, at the First Lutheran Church, Prentice, with Pastor Richard Hall officiating. Interment will be in the Hillside Cemetery, Ogema.

Friends may call after 5:00 P.M. on Thursday at the Heindl Funeral Home, Prentice and again after 12:00 Noon on Friday at the church until the time of the service. A memorial fund has been established.
