Lato, Julia Ann (24 JAN 1971)

Trinity Lutheran Church, Loyal, was the scene of the wedding of Miss Julia Ann Lato, 805 State Street, La Crosse, and Mark W. Needham, also of La Crosse.

Julia Ann is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Lato, Loyal (Clark Co., Wis.), and her groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Needham, Loyal.

Rev. William Humlie performed the ceremony on January 24th, 1971, at 1:30 p.m.

Miss Pam Wolfe played the organ and the church choir sang.

The bride was given in marriage by her father and chose a gown of white satin with long sleeves and empire waist. It was trimmed with white scallops around the neck and sleeves and down the front of the dress, which was completed by a satin train. Her veil fell from a headpiece of white satin, also trimmed with scallops. She carried a bouquet of red roses with satin bows.

Miss Jane Lato, Loyal, and Miss Linda Lato, Loyal, sister of the bride, were bridesmaids. They wore floor length dresses of royal blue velvet with teardrop openings, and empire style with long sleeves. They carried bouquets of white mums and red roses.

Scott Needham, Loyal, served as best man, and groomsman was Steve Langfeldt, Green Bay, Wisconsin. Paul Nielsen, La Crosse, and James Lato, Loyal, did ushering duties.

A reception followed the ceremony at the Village Plaza, Spencer, with a dinner at 4:30 p.m.

The bride is a 1969 graduate of Loyal High School and attended the Wis. U. Branch Campus at Medford for 1 year. She is presently employed at Modern Dry Cleaners, La Crosse, Wisconsin.

The groom is a 1968 Loyal High School graduate and is a student at W.S.U., La Crosse.

The couple will make their home at 805 State Street, Apt. 23, La Crosse, Wisconsin.
