Lindner, Darlene Agnes (30 JAN 1971)

Wedding vows were exchanged January 30, 1971, between Darlene Agnes Lindner, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Vincent Lindner, Loyal (Clark Co., Wis.), and Mr. Thomas Alfred Folz, son of Mr. and Mrs. Anton Folz, Marshfield.

The Rev. Norbert E. King performed the 1 p.m. ceremony at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Loyal.

Mrs. Thomas Felton, cousin of the bride, played the organ and the soloist was Miss Maureen Hughes, also a cousin of the bride. The Women's choir of St. Anthony's also sang.

The bride was given in marriage by her father and wore an empire gown of Peau and silk organza. The A-line skirt swept into a chapel train, and a Venice lace and peau bow headpiece accented by crystal and pearl held her illusion veil. She carried a bouquet of pink roses and hibiscus.

The maid of honor was Miss Judith Lindner, sister of the bride, and bridesmaids were Mrs. James Folz, Middleton, Wisconsin; Miss Luanne Hardrath, Marshfield; and Miss Kay Lindner, Loyal.

They wore full length formals with skirts of pink sheer with long sleeves and of empire design. The waists were of cherry red velvet and were trimmed in gold metallic braid which also accented the neckline and cuffs. They each carried a bouquet of white mums.

Dennis Olson, Loyal, was best man, and other groomsmen were James Folz, Middleton, Wisconsin, a brother of the groom; Michael Lindner, brother of the bride; and Barry Folz, Schofield.

Ushers were Patrick Lindner and Merlin Folz.

A reception dinner and dance followed the ceremony and was held at the Village Plaza, Spencer.

The bride is a 1968 graduate of Loyal High School and is employed at Land O' Lakes, Spencer.

The groom is employed at Marshfield Home Inc.

They will make their home at 1107 E. Blodgett, Marshfield.
