Dobson, Robert Lyle (27 March 1950 - 12 July 2016)

Robert Dobson, 66, of Humbird died Tuesday, July 12, 2016, in the emergency room of the Black River Memorial Hospital in Black River Falls.

Robert Lyle Dobson was born March 27, 1950, in Whitewater, the son of Glen and Clara (Bullock) Dobson. He was united in marriage to Vicki Fitzmaurice Dec. 7, 1968. Bob worked as a truck driver for Waste Disposal Management and retired from the Fairchild Co-op. he was active on the Mentor Town Board, loved hunting, fishing, Nascar and spending time with his family and friends.

He was especially proud of his daughters, Nikki and Wendy; son-in-law, Curt; grandson, Palmer; his “other grandsons” Neill and Brett; and his faithful walking companion, Maggie.

He is survived by his wife, Vicki; daughters: Nikki Dobson and Wendy (Curt) Goodwick; grandson, Palmer Goodwick; mother, Clara Dobson; mother-in-law, Edith Fitzmaurice; brother, Mike (Mary) Dobson; sister, Susan (Randy) Kraft; siblings-n-law: Blanche Dobson, Phillip (Giselle) Fitzmaurice, Mary Rochester, Darla Fitzmaurice, Kathy (Mark) Hoge, Daniel (Wendy) Fitzmaurice, Timothy (Rebecca) Fitzmaurice and Julie (Randy) Johnson; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Glen; father-in-law, Phillip Fitzmaurice; brother, Steven Dobson; and brothers-in-law: Bruce Rochester and Gary Fitzmaurice.

As per Bob’s wishes, no funeral services are planned.
