The local winner of the 1971 Mathematics Talent Contest sponsored by the
Mathematics Council in all high schools in the state of Wisconsin, was Scott
Zupanc, a senior at Loyal (Clark Co., Wis.) High School. Forty-eight students of
Loyal High School took the test on February 11, 1971.
Scot will be awarded a plaque of recognition and a mathematics book later this
year.
