Oleson, Ruth (27 NOV 1918 – 28? FEB 1968)

Services for Mrs. Frank Oleson, 29, Medford, who died at St. Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield, were held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Ruesch Funeral Home in Medford, with the Rev. Joseph Jeide officiating. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery.

The former Ruth Petersen was born at Withee (Clark Co., Wis.) on November 27, 1918, and attended school there. She was a graduate of the Wausau Business College. On April 15, 1947 she was married at Withee to Frank Oleson, and after her marriage made her home in Medford. She had been an employee of the Klinner Accounting Office for many years.

Surviving are her husband; three children, Glen Oleson, serving with the Army at Ft. Carson, Colorado; and Linda and Diane at home; two step-children, Mrs. Vernon (Myrna) Brost of Medford, and Jack Oleson, Minocqua; 11 grandchildren; her mother, Mrs. Effie Petersen, Withee; four brothers, Earl Petersen, Withee; Ernest Petersen, Blanco, Texas; Woodrow Petersen, Owen, and Glen Petersen, Green Bay.
