Karau, Deloris (22 JUL 1932 – 24 DEC 2016)
Deloris Karau Witt, 84, Fishers, Ind., formerly of Spencer, passed away
peacefully on Saturday, Dec. 24, 2016. Private services will be held this
summer.
Deloris Karau was born on July 22, 1932, to Emil and Minnie (nee Below) Karau.
After graduating at the top of her class in Spencer, Deloris moved to
Indianapolis in 1950 where she met and married the love of her life, Herbert L.
Witt. They spent 65 years together. Known for her quick wit and conversational
prowess, she filled the lives of those around her with laughter and love.
Survivors include her husband, Herbert; two sons: Douglas (Anna Marie) Witt and
Bruce (Laurie) Witt; three grandchildren: Dana (Chris) Fulks, James (Jessica)
Witt and Daniel Witt; two great-grandchildren, Ryder and Camilla Witt; and her
siblings: Ralph Karau, Eunice Allar, Emil Karau and Minnie Betsworth.
In addition to her parents, Deloris was preceded in death by a granddaughter,
Sarah Witt; and a brother, Norbert Karau.
You are loved beyond words and missed beyond measure.
