Happy Birthday Club helped Anna Urban light sixty-eight candles. Those that helped her were Martha Zuzelski, Martha Wargolet, Alice Mroz, Helen Ryniec, Ann Luptak, Tammie Mroz, Vickie Jarocki, Mary Moczarny, and Theresa Slipek. Her friends wished her many more birthdays.

Mr. and Mrs. Layton Asselin spent Sunday evening at the Norman Heideman home at Mead Dam.

Mr. and Mrs. Fred Warns of Stanley and Mrs. Jeanette Bogumill visited Mrs. Kate Van Loo Sunday.

Mrs. Ray Slipek and Julie spent Sunday evening with Mrs. William Urban.

Visitors at the Edmund Cook residence last week were Mrs. Ronnie Witt and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Jess Winkler of Cadott, Mr. Bud Cook.

Mr. Bob Huls of Chippewa Falls visited Mrs. Kate Van Loo Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Sylvester Huls of Stanley and Mrs. Kate Van Loo visited Mrs. Jeanette Bogumill Thursday evening.

Mr. and Mrs. Joe Truckey spent Saturday in Minneapolis visiting friends and relatives.

Seven girls surprised Jill Anderson for 13th birthday May 20th.

Mr. and Mrs. Layton Asselin spent Saturday evening at the Harry Heiting home in Stanley.

Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Frenette and son Jeff spent the weekend in Chicago with Mr. and Mrs. Charles Michalski.

Edwin Wegner of Newton, Iowa spent the past weekend at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Wegner, of Withee.

Eighty members of St. Hedwig's School Choir and altar boys enjoyed an all day picnic at Rock Dam Friday with Fr. Bill Matzek.

Mr. and Mrs. Layton Asselin and Mr. and Mrs. Sydney Alger Jr. spent Friday evening with Mr. and Mrs. Dick Alger.

S.S.G. Roger Sonnentag, who was stationed in Vietnam for the past eleven months, is spending a furlough with his parents and other relatives here.

Mrs. James Boylan of Withee and Mrs. Vick Wilcenski of Gilman visited Mrs. Bertha Dudansky on Wednesday afternoon of last week.
