Noland, Thomas “Tom” Allen (30 OCT 1966 - 14 FEB 2017)

Thomas “Tom” Allen Noland, 50, of Rib Lake, passed away at his home on Tuesday, February 14, 2017.

Tom was born October 30, 1966 in Marshfield, WI to Robert and Delores (Baronsky) Noland. He attended Medford Area Schools, and was a 1985 graduate of Medford Area Senior High School. Tom married Patricia “Patty” Kennedy on April 20, 1991 in Prentice.

Tom is survived by his wife Patty, his children: Katey (Wilson Fowle), Lizzie, and Jake Noland all at home.

He is further survived by his Parents: Robert and Delores Noland of Medford, Siblings: Brian (Lisa) Noland, Galen Noland, Susan (Larry Peterson) Noland all of Medford, Brothers and Sisters in law: Tammy (Charles) Johnson of Westboro, Kathleen (Kreg) White of Ogema, Bryan (Pam) Kennedy of Medford, Mike (Jolene) Kennedy of Westboro, Mary (Brian) Quante of Withee, Billy (Becky) Kennedy of Westboro, and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Tom is preceded in death by his Grandparents Carl and Marcella Noland and Frank and Nellie Baronsky, and Father and Mother in Law Wallace and Audrey Kennedy.

Tom loved to be outdoors. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, boating, four wheeling, snowmobiling, riding his Ranger, and most recently ice fishing. He was a great hunting guide for family and friends. Tom was the Owner and Operator of Noland Logging, Inc., where he enjoyed having his son Jake work by his side. He enjoyed attending his children’s extra curricular activities especially volleyball and hockey games.

Tom loved his family and was very proud of them; especially for Katey becoming a Registered Nurse, Lizzie’s academic accomplishments, and Jake’s hunting skills. He was a member of the Great Lakes Timber Producers of America, Forest Industry Safety and Training Alliance, Member and Sponsor of Silver Creek Sportsman’s Club, and a Lifetime Member of The Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 12 noon, Friday February 17, 2017 at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Father Phil Juza will officiate. Burial will follow at the Holy Rosary Catholic Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Mike Kennedy, Bryan Kennedy, Billy Kennedy, Tim Noland, Christopher Noland, Luke Peterson, Ron Arkola, and Mike Brandner. Visitation will be held from 5-7 PM on Thursday February 16 at Hemer Funeral Home, Medford chapel, and also on Friday from 11 AM until the time of Mass at 12 noon at Holy Rosary Catholic Church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be given to the Noland Family, for designation at a later date for local projects and organizations.

Hemer Funeral Service of Medford and Rib Lake has been entrusted with arrangements.
