Bock, Deuane “Pops” R. (9 MAY 1938 - 18 MAR 2017)

Deuane “Pops” R. Bock, 78, a Township of Holway resident, passed away on Saturday, March 18 at Aspirus Care & Rehab, Medford where he had resided for the past 2 ½ months.

Memorial services will take place at 2:00 PM on Saturday, March 25 at the Holway Town Hall, Township of Holway, with Rev. James Krueger, officiating.

Visitation will be at 1:00 PM until the time of services at 2:00 PM on Saturday, March 25 at the Holway Town Hall, Township of Holway.

Pops was born on May 9, 1938 at Chili, WI, and attended Chili, WI area elementary schools.

On October 7, 2016, he married Shirley Ann Nelson-Kreuscher, and she survives.

He farmed in the Chili area for a period of time. Resided in the Perkinstown & Holway areas while working as a milk hauler, logging truck driver and Bauer Trucking of Medford for periods of time until retirement. He enjoyed hobby farming, horse sales, model trains, gun shows, hunting, fishing and traveling. He was a member of Immanuel Ev. Lutheran Church, Medford.

He is survived by his partner since 1984 and present wife, Shirley A. Kreuscher of the Town of Holway; children residing in the Chili area; Step-Children, Karl (Linda) Kreuscher of Medford and Patty (Mike) Webster of Gilman; Step-Grandchildren, Ashley Zettler, C.J Kreuscher and Amber Webster, along with one on the way; Step-Great Grandchildren, Kaylee & Memphis Zettler, Chloe Bucki.

He is predeceased by his parents, Robert and Daisy (Heisler) Bock.

Sadly missed by our cat-Custer.
