Hoffman, Janet L. (18 DEC 1971)

Larry D. Petersen, son of Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Petersen, Marshfield, said marriage vows with Miss Janet L. Hoffman, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Hoffman, Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.), on Saturday, December 18, 1971.

The 5 p.m. nuptial took place in St. Mary's Catholic Church, with the pastor, The Rev. Leander A. Koopman officiating. Thomas Zepaltas was the organist and the Zepaltas sisters were the singers. Parents of the bride and groom escorted them to the altar.

The bride wore a satin gown with daisy accents and a fingertip veil, also having the daisy accent. She carried one red rose.

Orchid empire gowns of polyester with matching Venice lace was the attire of the bridal aides, Miss Sue Hoffman, Greenwood, maid of honor, and Miss Patty Petersen, Marshfield, bridesmaid. Each had an arrangement of orchid chrysanthemums.

In the groom's party, Paul Heiting, Marshfield, was the best man, and Thomas Martin, Green Bay, was the groomsman.

Richard Fischer, Marshfield, and Wayne Frome, Colby, did the ushering in the church.

St. Mary's Church Hall was the scene of the dinner, reception and dance which followed the church services. Dinner was served at 6:45 p.m. by St. Ann's Society.

Mrs. Petersen graduated from Greenwood High School and has been employed at Central State Bank in Marshfield. Her husband graduated from Columbus High School. Prior to the service he also was employed at Central State Bank.

The newlyweds are making their home in Germany, where his is stationed with the U.S. Army.
