Buchanan, Donald Charles (8 JUN 1936 - 10 APR 2017)

Donald Charles Buchanan of Curtiss, Wisconsin went home to be with his Lord on Monday, April 10, 2017 at his residence.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 22, 2017 at the Abbotsford Evangelical Free Church in Abbotsford. Reverend Bruce Jahnke will officiate.

Family and friends are welcome from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service on Saturday at the church.

The Maurina-Schilling Funeral Home in Abbotsford is entrusted with the arrangements.

He was born on June 8, 1936 to Floyd and Clara (Wendt) Buchanan. Donald (or Donny, as he was known by family and friends) was a gentle, caring person, who loved to be with people and attend Bible study. Despite the crippling effects of polio when he was 13, he led a relatively
independent life and always without complaint.

Donny is survived by his brother and his sister, Ken (wife Lois) Buchanan and Joyce (husband Eldon) Stanton, both of Olympia, WA, 18 nieces and nephews, and 66 grandnieces and grandnephews.
