Funeral services were conducted Saturday morning at ten o'clock at Christ The King Catholic Church for John Fritsch, 76, who died Wednesday morning of a cerebral hemorrhage.

The body rested at the Swarthout Funeral Home until noon Friday, when it was taken to the Fritsch home where it reposed until the time of services.

The Holy Name Society Rosary Service was conducted at the funeral Home Thursday evening and Friday evening at Christian Mother Society and family. Rosary service was held at the Fritsch home.

Father Guy Guyon, Green Bay was Master of Ceremonies at the Requium High Mass. Father D. E. Randow, Green Bay, gave the sermon; Father Eugene Comisky, Pastor at Christ the King, read the Mass; Father Richard Mulroy of Green Bay was deacon and Father Jordan Bluha, Green Bay, sub-deacon. Burial was made in the Dorchester cemetery.

Pallbearers were George Seitz, William Erdman, Edward Erdmanczyk, Rue Burnette, Ladis Chizek and Wm. Weis.

Floral offerings were carried by Priscilla Fritsch, Jacqueline Fritsch, Mrs. George Seitz, Mrs. Walter Jossi, Mrs. Walter Marten, Mrs. Ladis Chizek, Mrs. Edward Erdmanczyk, Dorothy Chizek, Mrs. William Willner and Patricia Erdmanczyk.

John Fritsch was born February 18, 1878 at Brillion and with his parents, the late Mr. and Mr. Anton Fritsch, moved to Dorchester in 1901, where he worked at his trade as a painter.

On October 28, 1902 he married Anna Yonkers at Dorchester, where they resided for two years. They then moved to Abbotsford where he was employed by the Soo Line. Before moving to Spencer in 1913, he was made foreman.

Mr. Fritsch retired in 1946, and the past eight years has been ailing but only for short periods was confined to his bed

Mr. and Mrs. Fritsch celebrated their Golden wedding Anniversary October 28, 1952.

Mr. Fritsch was a member of the Holy Name Society, the Modern Woodmen and the Woodmen of the World. Beside his wife he is survived by six sons, Lawrence, of Spencer, Emery, Rockford, Ill., Myron, Withee; Theodore, of Green Bay; James Mineral Point; and Robert, now stationed at Maxwell Air Base Alabama; one daughter, Mrs. George (Lucille) Plockelman, Chicago, Ill.; two sisters Mrs. Mary Sorensen, Mt. Morris, Mich.; and Mrs. Sarah Kornschnable, Dorchester; and two brothers, Anton Fritsch, Dorchester and Joe Fritsch, Fond du Lac; and fourteen grandchildren.

Two sons preceded him in death.

All of the above named children and their families except two grandsons, Lee Fritsch, who is attending college in Colorado; and Gerry Plockelman, who is in service, were here for the funeral. Others relatives and friends from Fond du Lack, Mt. Morris, Mich., Dorchester, Rib Lake, Brillion, Appleton, Manitowoc, Stevens Point, Rockford, Ill., Green Bay, Withee, Reedsville, Abbotsford, Wisconsin Rapids, Marshfield, Arcadia, Unity, Colby and Loyal also attended.
