Bueschel, Theodore L. (12 JAN 1934 - 21 APR 2017)

Theodore L. Bueschel, age 83, of Withee passed away peacefully on Friday, April 21, 2017 in Palliative Care at Ministry Saint Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield.

A Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 5, 2017 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Owen. Father Janusz Kowalski will officiate. Full military rites will follow the service conducted by the Klossner-Dietzler Post 5729 funeral honors team. Interment will be at a later date at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood, IL.

Family and friends are welcome from 10:00 a.m. until time of service Friday at the church. The Maurina-Schilling Funeral Home in Owen is entrusted with the arrangements.

Ted was born on January 12, 1934 the son of Theodore E. and Harriet (Stasiak) Bueschel in Chicago, IL. He graduated from Lindblom High School in 1952 in Chicago, IL. Theodore was united in marriage to Donna L. McNelis on January 12, 1955 in Chicago, IL.

Ted served his country in the US Army from 1951 to 1993. He was also a self employed contractor and lived in Illinois, Vermont and Florida before moving to Wisconsin in 1984. He was a member of the Klossner-Dietzler Post 5729 in Medford, WI and was a member of its funeral honors team.

Theodore is survived by his wife of 62 years, Donna; three children: Christine Zugier of Kennan, Daniel (Vicki) Bueschel of Chandler, AZ and Carl (Jackie) Bueschel of Mokena, IL; twelve grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. He is further survived by his brother: Ralph (Pat) Bueschel of Custer, SD, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sister; Dorothy Pierson and a son-in-law; Alvin Zugier.
