Neumueller, Harold W. (27 OCT 1926 - 7 MAY 2017)

Harold W. Neumueller, 90, of W5273 Allman Ave., Medford, passed away on Sunday, May 7 at Care Partners Assisted Living, Medford, surrounded by his loving family, where he had resided for the past 2 months.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, May 12 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Whittlesey, with Pastor Randal Jeppesen officiating. Interment will be at Trinity Lutheran Church Cemetery, Whittlesey, where there will be graveside military rites performed by the Medford Area Military Honors Team.

Pallbearers will be his grandchildren, Reece, Hailey, Ethan & Emily Neumueller, Matt Gabel, Megan Johnson, Jamie Kochan, Christie Cartee, Kane & Travis Keller, Cory Hanson, Alexander Scott.

Visitation will be at 4-7 PM, Thursday, May 11 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Whittlesey and from 10 AM until the time of services at 11 AM on Friday, May 12.

Harold was born on October 27, 1926 in the Town of Chelsea, to Rudolph Henry and Helen Caroline (Schwabenhausen) Neumueller. He attended Whittlesey area elementary school, and was a graduate of Medford High School. On July 31, 1948, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Whittlesey, Harold was married to Yvonne H. Bristol. She preceded him in death February 16, 2011.

He is a US Navy Veteran of WW II. After the service, he hauled milk and worked on the family farm. He moved to Rockford, IL where he worked at Woodward Governor Company for a period of years. He also worked at Wisconsin Equipment in Medford for a period of time. In 2006, he settled back in the Medford area. He enjoyed woodworking, fishing, travel and spending time with his family. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Whittlesey & the Medford VFW Club; Past member of the Chelsea Conservation Club and the Whittlesey Lion’s Club.

Harold is survived by his children, Randy (Caroline) of the Town of Holway, Ron (Judy) of the Town of Medford, Brad (Robyn) of Roscoe, IL & Brenda (Bruce) Gabel of Loves Park, IL; 14 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren; siblings Melvin of Medford & Vernon (Mary Ellen) of Garden Prairie, IL; Dorothy (Jim) Broeren of Minocqua & Esther (Clarence) Schafman of Rockford, IL.

He is predeceased by his wife Yvonne H. (Bristol); his parents Rudolph Henry and Helen Caroline (Schwabenhausen) Neumueller; siblings Arnold, Harvey & Ralph Neumueller; Viola Anderson, Arlene Anderson & 1 in infancy.
