Watson, Howard (19 MAY 1888 – APR 1968)

Word was received here yesterday of the recent death of Howard Olhs Watson, 79, of 653 40th St., Ogden, Utah. He had been ill for some time.

Mr. Watson was born May 19, 1888 in Freeport, Ill., a son of Frank and Cora (Olhs) Watson.

He was reared and educated in Rock Rapids, Iowa. He moved to Owen (Clark Co., Wis. in 1923, where he farmed until retiring in 1958. In 1959 they moved to Ogden.

On March 12, 1917, he was married to Pearl M. Boone in Rock Rapids, Iowa. She died January 31, 1966.

He was a member of the Methodist Church.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Sam (Lorraine) Sefren, South Ogden, and Mrs. Horace (Jeanette) Cromwell, Denton, Texas; three grandchildren; one great-grandchild; one sister, Mrs. Joe Dearth, Vancouver, Washington.
