Navy Petty Officer Second Class Ernest W. Koltis, son of Mr. and Mrs. Walter A.
Koltis of 417 E. Stanley Street, Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.), has returned from a
six months assignment in the Western Pacific aboard the destroyer USS McKean,
home ported in Long Beach, California.
His ship participated in various types of destroyer operations and visited three
major cities of the Far East.
