Wicik, Annette (Lindahl) (25 JUL 1943 - 17 OCT 2017)

Annette (Lindahl) Wicik, 74, of Palos Hills, Ill. passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 17, 2017 following a stroke and 34-month battle with pancreatic cancer.

Annette was born on July 25, 1943 in Ladysmith to Ernest and Marie Lindahl. She graduated from Ladysmith High School in the class of 1961. She married Milan Wicik, from Tony, on May 19, 1962 in Ladysmith.

Annette is survived by her husband, Milan; her son, Gary (Ann); her daughter, Pam (Scott) Borkowski; her granddaughters, Brittani (Cody) Wicik-Klich, Jenna Borkowski and Brooke Wicik; her great-granddaughter, Haydin and her great-grandson, Greyson. She is also survived by her brother, Orin; her sisters, Karin (Phil) Polak, Phyllis (Gary) Johnson and Diane (Will) Bickler and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Arleen Grey.

A visitation will be held from 3 to 9 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 20 at Curley Funeral Home 6116 W. 111th St., Chicago Ridge, Ill., 60415. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 21 at the funeral home.

An interment service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 21 at Chapel Hill Gardens South Funeral Home and Cemetery, 11333 S Central Ave., Oak Lawn, Ill., 60453
