Jackson, Adeline (18 April 1904 – 12 October 1974)

Mrs. Adolph (Adeline) Jackson, 70, Greenwood died at Memorial Hospital, Neillsville, Saturday, October 12. Mrs. Jackson, the former Adeline Eleanor Behrens was born in the Christie area, April 18, 1904. She was married June 6, 1921 to Adolph Jackson in Longwood. He died October 7, 1969.

Surviving her, are four daughters: Mrs. Glen (Elaine) Zilk of Neillsville; Mrs. Wayne (Marjorie) Herdrick of Greenwood; Mrs. Vern (Carole) Schuld of Menomonie; Mrs. Curtis (Betty) Hong of Eau Claire; and Alan of Sparta; 25 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren; six sisters: Mrs. Ambrose (Irma) Herpzog of New Orleans, La.; Mrs. Lucille Schmidt of Suring; Mrs. Churchill (Mildred) Eisenhardt of Maryland; Mrs. Lillian Redgren of Menomonie; Mrs. Rexford (Eileen) Battenberg of Chicago; Mrs. Harold (Edith) Warner of Chetek; and five brothers: Edwin Behrens of Lemont, Il.; Louis Behrens of Greenwood; Neil Behrens of Miami, Fla.; William Behrens of Torrence, Ca.; and Karl Behrens of Franklin Park, Il.

She was preceded in death by one brother.

Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday, October 16 at 11 a.m. at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church with the Rev. David Wenger officiating. Burial will be made in the Greenwood Cemetery. Visitations begin at the Hill Funeral Home Tuesday afternoon after 9 a.m. and Wednesday, at the Church.
