Faude, Elmer “Pete” Edward (22 NOV 1940 - 20 JAN 2018)

Elmer “Pete” Edward Faude, 81, passed away on January 20, 2018 at his residence.

A funeral mass will take place on Saturday January 27, 2018 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church at 11:00 A.M. Visitation will be at Hemer Funeral Home, Medford Chapel, Friday, January 26, 2018 from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM, when a prayer service will take place. Visitation will continue at Holy Rosary Catholic Church from 10:00 AM until the time of service at 11:00 AM

Pallbearers are Leo Wright, Paul Culliver, Ed Hills, Jason Faude, Billy Faude, and Nicholas Faude.

Pete was born to Town of Browning, February 27, 1936, to Walter and Francis (Rudolph) Faude. He attended Medford High School, and graduated in 1955.

He married Patricia (Olson) Molitor, they were later divorced.

Pete served in the US Army from 1959 to 1961. He then worked at Hurd Millwork from 1955 until his retirement in 2001. In retirement he worked part time for Medford Monument. He enjoyed driving around and making firewood. In his spare time he enjoyed watching the Packers, racing, spending time with family, and singing and playing guitar for various nursing homes in the area. He was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church.

He is survived by his children, Michelle (Denny) Klass of Menomonie, Kim (Steve) Virnig of Medford, Amy Faude of Medford, and Peter Faude of Minneapolis, MN; grandchildren Megan, Olivia and Cody Klass of Menomonie, Keesha Faude of LaCrosse, Devon Virnig of Medford and Brandon Wry of Medford; and siblings Sandy Heier of Germantown, Ruthie Schultz of Merrill, JoAnn (Dave) Armbrust of Medford.

Pete is predeceased by his parents, Walter and Francis (Rudolph) Faude; and siblings Raymond, Ronald “Butch,” Duane “Nuppy”, and Steven Faude.

Memorial contributions be given to the family for a future designation.
