Lind, Francis O. (12 OCT 1942 - 28 JAN 2018)

Francis O. Lind, 75, Town of Prentice, died on Sunday, January 28, 2018, at the Aspirus Wausau Hospital, Wausau.

He was born on October 12, 1942, in Chicago, Ill., the son of Oliver and Lelia (Minder) Lind.
He made his home in Brantwood, as a child. He attended grade school in Brantwood, and then attended and graduated from Tripoli High School, Class of 1960.

He was married to Karen Asp on February 13, 1964, in Chicago. They were about to celebrate their 54th wedding anniversary.

He was employed at Prentice Hydraulics, Omark Industries and Blount Industries, all in Prentice for more than 35 years prior to his retirement on July 31, 1999. In his free time he enjoyed projects in the garage especially anything with a motor.

He is survived by his wife Karen, Prentice, his 5 children: Dawn and Jennifer Lind both of Rhinelander, Nicole (Joe) Teasley, Superior, Michael and Jonathan Lind, both of Wausau by 3 grandsons: Matthew, David, and Scott.

He was preceded in death by his parents and by 1 daughter Kristina Buros.

The funeral service will be held at 11:00A.M. on Saturday, February 3, 2018, at the Heindl Funeral Home, Prentice, with Pastor Glenn Sokolowski officiating. Interment will be in the Prentice Cemetery, Prentice, in the spring. Friends may call on Friday, February 2, 2018 from 5:30 P.M. at the Heindl Funeral Home, Prentice.
