Papierniak, Mr./Mrs. Louis (Gold - 20 SEP 1971)

Relatives and friends of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Papierniak of Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.) gathered on Saturday, October 2, 1971 to help them celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary. They attended Mass of Thanksgiving at 4:00 p.m. at St. Hedwig’s Catholic Church. A reception was held at the American Legion Hall.

Mr. and Mrs. Papierniak were married at St. Hedwig’s Church on September 20, 1921.

They have five children, Mrs. Bob Cattanach (Irene), Neillsville, Wisconsin; Mrs. Bud Pitt (Dorothy) Waukesha, Wisconsin; Mrs. Harry Koslo (Judith) Germantown, Wisconsin; Bud Papierniak of Wauwatosa, Wisconsin; Don Papierniak, Littleton, Colorado. They lost one son in the Air Force in World War II, Staff Sergeant, Edward L. Papierniak.

Mr. Papierniak carried mail until his retirement in December of 1963. They have 11 grandchildren.
