The First Presbyterian Church of Abbotsford will be dedicated Sunday, August 17, 1969 at 1:30 p.m.

The Rev. Charles Glidden will conduct the morning worship service, with the Rev. Wallace Smith, Merrill, former associate pastor, assisting.

The dedication choir, under the direction of Mrs. Kenneth Conrad, with Denise Loucks at the organ, will sing "Keep This Thy City" by Clifford McCormick; "Give Thanks" by Frances Williams, and "Lead Me Lord" by Samuel Wesley.

A buffet luncheon will be served at 11:30 a.m., by reservation, for all members of the Abbotsford and Edgar Presbyterian Church and invited guests.

Plans for the afternoon are for some of the elders and building committee, with color bearers, to march from the old church to the new one, for the chairman to knock on the new church door, be received, and the procession to march into the new church.

The procession will start about 1 p.m., with the dedication at 1:30.

The Rev. Virgil E. Taylor of Marshfield will be the guest speaker at the dedication.

Mrs. Glenn Adler and Norman Clayton will be guest soloists, and Mrs. Eugene Strathman will preside at the organ.

Open house will follow the dedication, and tea will be served in the Christian education room, under the chairmanship of Mrs. Harold Trimner.

Everyone is welcome to attend.
