Parker, Clinton V. (13 November 1888-26 October 1937)

Medford--Clinton V. Parker, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ed Parker of this city,
passed away at his parents' home Tuesday afternoon. Death followed an
illness of several years with angina pectoris.

Mr. Parker was 49 years of age, born Nov 13, 1888, in Greenwood. The
majority of his years were spent in the vicinity of Medford. He was a
graduate of Medford High School and attended the Milwaukee state
teachers college for several years. Following that he taught school in
Taylor and Clark counties for a number of years.

The deceased served with the Canadian troops in the World war as an
American subject, enlisting in 1917.

Besides his parents, Mr. Parker is survived by several brothers and
sisters. They are Lee, Corvalis, Oregon; Irvin, Albany, Oregon; Dr.
David M. Parker, Mount Iron, Michigan; Mrs. Myrtle Maurer, Milwaukee;
Mrs. Fern Nedry, Albany, Oregon; Mrs. Fay Showers, Long View,
Washington; Mrs. Frances Forsyth, Minneapolis, Minnesota; Mrs. Dorothy
Quinn, Albany, Oregon.

The date and place of the funeral services have not been definitely
established at the present time.

Note: There are two burial records for Clinton. Lutheran Church records
show Clinton B. Parker born 13 November 1888, buried in the Int Soldiers
Home Cemetery from the Ascension Church in Milwaukee. Record confirmed
by his sister Myrtle Maurer.
The second record submitted to FindaGrave by the US Veterans's
Affairs gives Clinton B. Parker born 11 November 1891 buried in Wood
National Cemetery in Milwaukee.
