School has begun in most of the districts, and the graduates of the Greenwood
High School seem to be filling their full share of places as molders of the
plastic mind. All but three of this year’s graduates have schools, as follows:
Ella Wollenberg, Meinholdt District; Maggie Masters, Veefkind; Joseph Thompson,
Longwood; Arthur Chamberlin, Shanks District; Hazel Warner, Griffith District,
near Spokeville; Mollie Johnson, Alton District; Peter Peterson has a school
near Curtiss, his home.
The older high schoolers who are teaching this year are: James Fradette,
Huntzicker District; Stella Hogue, moody District, near Withee; Bessie Warner,
Decker District; Ella Larson, Schwarze District.
Others, not yet graduates, who will teach this year are: Leda Williams, Rossman
District; Marie Potter, Globe.
The new district recently set off from the McMahon and Meinholdt districts in
the town of Eaton, will be taught by Mrs. M. V Spencer of Longwood.
Most of these schools began Monday, though a few will not begin for a week or
two longer.
