The Thorp High School graduation for the Class of 1973 will be held at Thorp
High School on Wednesday, May 30, 1973 at 8:00 p.m. The class consists of 98
graduates, 8 more than last years.
Reverend Robert Olson of the Thorp Lutheran Church will deliver the invocation
and benediction at the ceremony. The mixed high school chorus will render two
selections, “You’ve Got a Friend: and “With a Little Help from My Friends.”
The “Welcome” address will be given by Tim Ahles, and the “Farewell” by Beverly
Haas. The Arion Award Winner for Chorus will go to Diane Mamayek, and for the
Band the award will go to Gerard Meyer.
The presentation of the top ten awards will be made by Principal of the high
school, Floyd Hanley, to Tim Ahles, William Baures, Beverly Haas, Joan Morgan,
Diane Niedzwiecki, Kim Paulson, Jim Sarafin, Chester Slipek, Arlene Wojt and
Robert Zukowski.
