Jennings, Margaret J. (20 October 1894 - 23 August 1982)

Funeral services were to be held Wednesday afternoon, August 25, for Margaret J. Jennings, 86, from the Gesche Funeral Home in Neillsville.

Mrs. Jennings, formerly of Humbird, passed away in Pine View Nursing home in Black River Falls on Monday afternoon, August 23.

The deceased was born on October 20, 1894, in Humbird to George and Nancy (Young) Taylor. After receiving her education in Humbird schools, she worked at various jobs in Minneapolis for many years. During this time, she married Harrison C. Jennings in August 6, 1923, Minneapolis ceremonies. After their marriage, the couple moved to Humbird where she worked many years at many jobs.

In 1978 after the death of her husband, she entered Pine View Nursing Home due to failing health.

Surviving her are several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death, besides her husband, by a stepdaughter, a brother and four sisters.

The Rev. Robert Knutson of the Alma Center Village Christian Church officiated at the funeral service. Burial was to be made in the Town of Mentor Cemetery.
