Grassman, Olga D. (5 December 1897 - 19 October 1983

Mrs. Arthur C. (Olga) Grassman, 85, Riverview Manor, Wisconsin Rapids, formerly of Lynn, died Wednesday at Riverview Manor.

Services will be Saturday at the Hansen Funeral Home. The Rev. Charles P. Schumacher of St. Stephen's Catholic Church, Chili, will officiate. Tim Foley will be the soloist, and Carol Snelling will be organist. Burial will be in the Town of Lynn Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Dan Adams, Harvey Johnson, William Moleski, Frank Punchguer, Henry Dahlke and Erwin Sternitzky.

The former Olga D. Spicer was born December 5, 1897 in the Town of Lynn, Clark County, to the late Mr. and Mrs. John (Mary Wolff) Spicer. She received her education in the town of Lynn schools.

She was married to Arthur C. Grassman February 28, 1917 in the Town of Grant, Clark County, After their marriage, they farmed in the Town of Lynn until 1936 and then moved to Lynn. Her husband died June 19, 1948 and she continued to live in Lynn until December 1979 when she moved to Wisconsin Rapids.

Survivors include two sons, John Grassman of Route 1 Granton, and Rudy Grassman of Valley Center, California; one daughter, Mrs. Leolene Cleveland of Wisconsin Rapids; 13 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs.Ernest (Elsie) Kegler of Arpin.

She was also predeceased by a son who died December 12, 1961, a grandson, a sister and a brother.
