Wyatt, Edith (19 Jan 1903 – 25 Apr 1976)

Funeral services were held Tuesday at 7 p.m. at the Lulloff Funeral Home in Colby for Edith Wyatt, age 73, of Colby.

The Rev. Douglas Groenewald of St. John’s Lutheran Church, Withee, officiated.

Services will also be held at Turner Funeral Home in Philadelphia, and burial will follow at Hillside Cemetery at Roslyn, Pennsylvania.

Mrs. Wyatt died Sunday, April 25, 1976 at the Colonial House of Colby, where she has lived for the past four years.

The former Edith Corrigan was born in Philadelphia on January 19, 1903. She married John Wyatt on June 25, 1924, in Philadelphia.

She lived her entire life there until 1965, after which she lived with her children. Her husband was a railroad auditor. He died in 1959.

Mrs. Wyatt was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, Withee. She was also a member of the Eastern Star and Amaranth.

She is survived by two sons, J. Russell Wyatt, Framingham, Massachusetts, and Paul Wyatt, Trempealeau; one daughter, Mrs. Edward (Edith) Deininger, Fort Wayne, Indiana; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren, and one sister, Mary Landis, Corydon, Pennsylvania.
