Rose Ann Weix and Galen Kulas were united in marriage Saturday, May 8, 1976 at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church, Abbotsford.

Father Emil Hodnik officiated at the 2 p.m. services.

Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Weix, Abbotsford, and Mr. and Mrs. Sylvester Kulas, Abbotsford, are parents of the couple.

The bride wore a white empire style gown with a lace bodice featuring an A-line skirt. Her chapel length veil was held with a Camelot cap. She carried a cascade of pink roses and white carnations.

Patsy Viegut, Abbotsford, was maid of honor. Judy Berger, Spencer, and Diane Ven Rooy, Colby, were bridesmaids.

Mark Calmes, Abbotsford, was best man for the bridegroom. Richard Berger, Spencer and Daryl Kulas were groomsmen.

A reception and dance followed at the Sword.

The bride is a 1975 graduate of Abbotsford High School. The bridegroom graduated in 1974 from the same school, and in 1975 from North Central Technical Institute in Antigo. He is employed at Abbotsford Auto Company.
