Rueth, Andrew Joseph “Andy” (19 February 1952 – 16 March 2023)

Andrew "Andy" J. Rueth, 71, of Neillsville, died on Thursday, March 16, 2023, at the Marshfield Medical Center-Marshfield.

Andrew Joseph Rueth was born on February 19, 1952, in Marshfield, the son of Leonard and Betty (Matthews) Rueth. He graduated from Greenwood High School and went on to CVTC where he studied mechanics. Andy took a job with the Clark County Highway Department and worked his entire career for them. He was very proud of all of the roads and bridges he worked on over the years and served the county as a mechanic as well.

Andy was united in marriage to his high school sweetheart, Jennifer Thomas. They later divorced. On Feb 17, 2001, he was united in marriage to Tracey Seebandt. Andy's greatest enjoyment was a day out riding on his Harley Davidson. He was a "motorcycle enthusiast" and proud supporter of ABATE serving as the Area Rep and was a lifetime member of ABATE of Florida. He loved sharing his enthusiasm with others and trained other enthusiasts how to ride safely. He loved to travel throughout Wisconsin. Andy will always be remembered as a loving neighbor, taking care of shoveling sidewalks, playing with the neighborhood kids and helping out wherever someone needed.

Andy is survived by his significant other, Julie Dallman, 2 children, Dr. Natasha (Bama Loftis) Rueth of Minneapolis, MN and Shawn Rueth of Eau Claire, 2 Stepchildren Elice Seebandt and Clarice Vullings, 6 grandchildren, Ashlynn, Dallas, Jonathan, Torey, Matthew and Dana. He is further survived by siblings, Diane Courtney of Neillsville, Debbie (Mike) Carew of Green Bay, Jeff Rueth of Spring, TX, Tim (Heather) Rueth of Holman and Rebecca (David) Scherer of Loyal and many nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and wives, Jennifer Thomas and Tracy Seebandt.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Friday, June 23, 2023, at the Gesche Funeral Home in Neillsville. On June 24, 2023, he takes his final ride. Please mark your calendars for a memorial ride, details to follow.
