Public Land RecordsSlovenian website for Wisconsin The Stanley Historical Society--located just across the county line, in Chippewa Co., Wisconsin, has a wonderful genealogical and historical collection which includes many items pertaining to the northwestern portion of Clark Co. They are open on Saturdays and Sundays from 1 pm to 4 pm. Their holdings include an exciting new research library and are very eager helpers with a vast collection of indexed news clippings. They have also established an interesting museum. If you are researching the township history or genealogy of Thorp, Worden, Butler or Reseburg, this is Society could prove very useful and the members seem very willing to do whatever they can to be of service.
