Neillsville School District honors employees

During American Education Week

 

 

In association with American Education Week, the School District of Neillsville recognized employees for their years of service to the district.  Administrator John Gaier met with the school staff Wednesday morning, Nov. 17, to acknowledge five-year milestones for years of service to the district of Neillsville.  Each received a t-shirt with the years of service imprinted on it.  Plaques were also given to those who have reached 25-and 30-year levels.

 

The 2010 Teacher of the Year was awarded to Arlette Golembiewski for her 34 years of dedicated service to the School District of Neillsville.  Her husband Phil was present to accept the plaque from District Administrator John Gaier.

Employees receiving recognition were:

 

Five Year – Joren Anderson, MS/HS social studies teacher; Cindy Dammann, food service; Dixie Faul food service; Michelle Kranz, district bookkeeper; Bonnie LaChapelle, food service; Aaron Scheuer, tech ed teacher.

 

10-year – Kia Chose, teaching assistant; Duane King, third-grade teacher; Kari Mayer, ES CDB teacher

 

20-year – Kathy Gehrke, MS English/language arts teacher; Jeff Hanson, second-grade teacher; Kathy Mathis, ES CDS teacher; Jane Miller, fourth-grade teacher; Tammy Perushek, kindergarten.

 

25-year – Larry Anason, maintenance; Ruth Clark, first-grade teacher; Emilie Fleischmann, bus driver; John Gaier, district administrator; Mildred Gumz, guidance secretary; Lee Ann Henchen, second-grade teacher; Lori Meurett, MS/HS art; Allen Mohr, principal; Susan Vornholt, MS/HS CDB teacher; Delilah Seelow, HS secretary.

 

30-year – Chris Christensen, primary LD teacher.

 30 years of service to the Neillsville School District.
