Walking the Yellowstone Trail

Students from the Thorp Catholic School spent a number of weeks walking the distance of the Yellowstone Trail. The top five distances in first through fourth grades were led by Stephanie Welch, with 1212 miles; Paige Mertens, 910 miles; Brittany Neisius, 735 miles; Madisyn Greschner, 544 miles; and Samantha Welch 383 miles. 
 
In grades five through eight Marybeth Mason walked 551 miles; Angel Szczech, 548 miles; Kayln Szymanski 521 miles; Ashley Szczech, 517 miles; and Eric Lewandowski, 424 miles.  Pictured are some of the students that walked the most miles. The students received battery operated fans for a prize.
