Pride in the Farm

Julie Kodl presented the 2006 Pride in the Farm Award to her uncle and aunt, Albert and Mary Kodl, at the Jaycees banquet in November. In 1945, the newly married Kodl’s purchased a farm across the road from Mary’s parents and the journey began. Over the years many changes were made to the farm, such as silos, enlarging the barn and adding acreage, as well as the addition of eight children. Area businesses vote for the winning farm based on set criteria. Here’s one family that loves what they do and their pride shows.
