Who is the contractor around here? This week’s Way Back When photo is of eight men in a bare frame of a house. Each man stands either with tools in their hands or off their belts and dressed for hard work. Long strips of lumber line the floor and pre-assembled beams lean against the east wall. Last week’s Way Back When photo featured a lineup of baseball league players. Paula Licht of Chippewa Falls identified a few of the players as Frank Gwiazdon (father) and Doc Stuesser and that the photo was taken in the late 1940’s early 1950’s. |
