School may be out, but this week’s Way Back When photo takes us back, way back, to those old school days.  A large group of students, ranging in all kinds of ages, stand outside in the snow in front of an old school house.  Do you know who any of these students are?  Do you know what year this photo was taken?  Do you know where this photo was taken? Let us know by contacting The Thorp Courier.

Last week’s Way Back When Photo of the young couple dressed in their winter gear has been identified as Bunny, age 26, and Eileen Frenette, age 25 of Thorp. The photo was taken on Christmas Day of 1945 when Bunny had just returned from the Air Force and the couple is standing outside 205 N. Lincoln Street, the home that was owned by Helen and Leon Bogumill.  Hank Nowobielski and Eileen Frenette helped the Courier determine the identities and details in this photo
