Figuring out where this old “way back when” gas station was located won’t be too difficult. The building of today still looks incredibly similar, albeit the shade trees and tile roof. However, who can tell us the identities of the two gentlemen at the front entrance? How about the young boy walking his bike towards the building, possibly for an air refill or sweet lollipop? This building is a landmark to the Thorp community—a meeting place for our men and a symbol of welcome, friendliness, and quality service. Let’s hear all about it! |
